The Comanche TIPS Manual 2007 edition is streamlined and designed to save both you and your mechanic countless hours of effort in research and in troubleshooting. This manual is a must-have for every Comanche owner.

For nearly thirty-five years, The Comanche TIPS Manual has represented the collected wisdom of the ICS membership and continues to provide a wealth of information about Comanche aircraft and their sub-systems.

Throughout the history of the ICS, our members have shared their Comanche experiences by writing TIPS articles for the Flyer magazine. Starting in 1973, a loose-leaf TIPS manual was published that included those articles concerning repairs, modifications, improvements, and technical advice. This manual was updated yearly by the addition of new TIPS pages sent to members to snap into their growing binders. After almost thirty years, this manual became a bit unwieldy, and parts of it were outdated. In 2002, a group of ICS members reorganized the manual in an effort to make it more readable and current. Meticulous and time-consuming editing resulted in a collection of articles in a bound manual called TIPS Special 2002.

In 2007, another group of members revisited and revised the TIPS Special 2002. The manual has been clarified and updated by removing similar or technically outdated TIPS (e.g., radio and nav systems no longer in use), by removing illegal or obviously erroneous material, and by eliminating references to vendors no longer in business.

The Comanche TIPS Manual (edited 2007) is available online (press Tips Online in navigation bar on the left hand side) or as a paper copy (8.5 x 11 coiled book of 385 pages).
